GK Films, Infinitum Nihil clock 'Hours'
GK Films is searching towards the West, obtaining E. Nicholas Mariani's Western script "Desperate Hrs" with Infinitum Nihil.GK Films' Graham King and Tim Headington and Infinitum Nihil's The Actor-brad Pitt and Christi Dembrowski are creating. Script, within the vein of "High Noon," focuses on a widowed rancher who bands along with his neighbors to fight several mobsters who've range from industrialized East searching to overtake the Western town and collect a woman having a mysterious past. That old and new mobile phone industry's collide, resulting in an explosive showdown.Infinitum Nihil, headed by Depp and Dombrowski, includes a first-look cope with GK Films. The 2 companies created Martin Scorsese's "Hugo" and therefore are in publish-production on "Dark Shadows" for Warner Bros. with Depp starring and creating with Tim Burton, who's also pointing. Infinitum Nihil and GK Films also share projects in development at Warners, including "Shantaram," "Attica" "The Glass Books from the Dream People" and "Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Environments."GK Films lately signed "Hugo" star Asa Butterfield for an overall two-year deal and it is developing an adaptation of "Jersey Boys," along with the untitled Freddie Mercury story as well as an original script by Robert Towne of "The Fight of Britain."Mariani can also be penning "Ploesti" for Alcon and 2S, chronicling the most harmful day in U.S. Air Pressure Background and the love story from a taken pilot and also the Romanian princess who risked everything in order to save his existence.Depp and Mariani are repped by UTA.
